When this amazing senior smiles, her whole countenance shines!
Like most 2020 high school seniors, she is experiencing a uniquely different end to her high school experience. However, this young woman has been preparing for her future over the past several years; thus, her end of school experience pales in light of her bright future!
Melissa, Minnie to her friends and family, wants to be a nurse. She has been studying nursing at WTCA and will soon be taking her exams to become a Certified Nurses Assistant! -At only 18! I am so impressed with her hard work and determination!
Minnie will be continuing her study of nursing at BYUI. One of the perks for her of going to BYUI is that she has two married siblings attending there, already! Can you say, “Free Sunday Dinners?” 😉 (I’m guessing she’s going to be loving on her newest niece and probably exchanging some babysitting for some home-cooked meals!)
Although upon first meeting her, you may think her to be quiet. Upon getting to know her, you will see her wonderful sense of humor and experience her contagious laugh!
Minnie has a love for mathematics and a gift for crocheting and gardening, enlarging my respect for her! She loves to read, as well.
Minnie has a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints as a goal, so much so, that she is currently partaking in an online mission-prep course! Her fabulous piano skills will serve her well in the mission field. Her family will definitely miss her playing for them, especially with her spoiling them with spontaneous concerts during this quarantine…
As her favorite aunt (did I not mention the relation?), I love it when I get a chance to sit and visit with her. She is always happy, smiling, and kind. I have loved watching her grow into the amazing, beautiful, wonderful person that she is today. I know that she will continue to impress us all as she goes forward to love, serve, and bless others. I love you, Minnie!
