Snakes Don’t Like the Heat

When your photo shoot starts out with a tiny, red snake speedily slithering across your path, you know it’s going to be memorable time!

You want memorable? Dagney’s Senior photoshoot was the first day we’d hit 98 degrees F in Vegas this year, at least according to my car.

We even had a model visiting from Pennsylvania very nonplussed about how Dagney’s hair looked so perfect, despite the heat…(check out those amazing curls!)

While checking in at Nelson’s Landing, we were warned about the rattle snakes, “Be sure to look under things, because they like to hide in the cool shade…but don’t worry, once they get out in the sun they don’t move so fast.”

“You see, they don’t like the heat. (FYI: They’re cold blooded.)” YIKES!🐍

THAT is how Dagney’s shoot started…and, yet, she had a great attitude & smiled the whole time!

Well, this amazing girl stuck it out, despite all the dangers of our location!

Obviously, she’s very brave; she’s my energetic grandsons’ babysitter! So, SO brave….and such a big heart! 😉

Dagney is quite the impressive Senior; she is a Foothill Varsity Dancer, teaches dance, and loves to read.

It goes without saying that she loves her family, dearly! Her younger sister came along to keep her company, so we had to capture a few of them before they’re separated in a few months…

SUU is so lucky to be getting such an impressive, incoming Freshman this Fall!

Even though the rest of Dagney’s High School Senior photo shoot was relatively uneventful (aka, “no snakes!”), it was still memorable.

As you can see, she literally glows from the inside, no doubt a testament of her love for her family, her love of life, & her goodness.
