Simply Impressed

It’s a unique view through the lens of a camera…

I feel that I can “see” so much more of the people I photograph than just their outsides; it’s like getting a little peek into who they really are….so, I’d like to share some of my insights into this particularly impressive Senior, Ethan, Class of 2021.

I’ve known Ethan’s family for a long time (they’re one of my favorite families) but hadn’t had the opportunity to visit with him much before his senior shoot last week…

I loved getting to know him! As I spoke with Ethan and was taking his pictures, I was instantly impressed with him, by his happy demeanor, positive attitude, and optimistic outlook!

I was impressed that Ethan knows who he is & that he likes himself; he is confident but not arrogant.

Ethan’s a funny guy-the family jokester, & he’s sharp-witted, too (as #4 of 5 boys you’ve got to be a quick thinker to keep up, and often best, the older ones)!

He literally could NOT keep a smile off his face!

His future is exciting! He is going to be serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Chile Concepcion South Mission!

Afterwards, he’s headed to BYUI with friends!

As you can probably guess, he loves his family & friends; and he still likes high school, even as crazy as it’s been this last year & a half!

As I drove away from Ethan’s shoot I had the feeling that not only is he going to be successful and happy but that he’s going to lift a lot of people along the way.

Congratulations on your graduation, Ethan!
