The Class of 2021 has probably had the strangest Senior Year, as far as recent high school seniors are concerned…
Yes, Class of 2020 missed out on their final months, but the Class of 2021 has been quarantined from school for almost the whole year!
You’d never know it, though, because Eva is always smiling!
I asked Eva, SRHS Class of 2021, how she felt about heading back to school in two weeks for just a few, final weeks…
As you can imagine, she is really looking forward to seeing her classmates!
She’s missed seeing them, but, thankfully, she and her best friend have been able to hang out.
When I asked her about her extra-curricular activities she mentioned that she belonged to several clubs and has played softball the last several years in high school…
I had the great opportunity of getting to know Eva better during her photoshoot, & I love her optimistic personality!
Her BFF came along and was the one that told me that they loved to do service together!
As her neighbor, I’d already discovered on my own that Eva was happy, genuine, kind, and always smiling…
But volunteering for community service as something for friends to do when they hang out?! So Awesome!
When I discover the wonderful, individual qualities of seniors like Eva and her BFF, I have such high hopes for the future!
Speaking of Hope: Eva is still considering her options for college but is holding out hope for someplace not too cold!
(We share the love of the desert heat, & it can be an adjustment to go to those colder climates for university!)
If you do choose to go somewhere cold, Eva, just know that you will get better grades (if that’s even possible).
Studies have shown that the colder the climate, the greater the tendency to stay inside and study! (TRUTH! -Sources pending…;) )
However, you’ve got some darling jackets and sweaters, so I’m sure you’ll not only survive, you’ll THRIVE in a colder climate! 😉
Beautiful, inside & out, this particular high school Senior will not surprise us (because we know she’s fabulous) but will amaze us with what she will accomplish in her life!
Congratulations on your upcoming Graduation!
You are a spectacular individual, & I’m so glad we’re friends, now!
